If you own the Platform M+, or the Platform M Waves Edition, you may be curious about the ability to switch firmware versions to use the opposite device with your system. For example, if you have the Waves edition, you may be curious about the ability to load the Platform M+ firmware to access other DAW modes. 

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the mappings designed with Waves for the LV1 software, the mapping for the Waves Edition Platform M is limited to this device. 

Also, it's important to note the Waves Edition device is incapable of running the regular Platform M+ firmware. 

Attempting to load the incorrect firmware on your device may cause irreversible damage to your control surface.
