Jog Wheel Lock and Resolution Update

For iCON V1-M Series DAW Controllers

Overview

This update introduces new functionality for the jog wheel on V1-M series controllers. It addresses user feedback regarding unintended jog wheel movement when touched, and adds options to adjust sensitivity and lock the wheel when needed.

Jog Wheel Lock Function

You can now lock or unlock the jog wheel using the Focus button:

• To activate Focus mode:
  Short press the Focus button (about 1 second). The LED will turn pink, indicating Focus mode is active. Press again to deactivate.
• To lock the jog wheel:
  Long press the Focus button (hold for 2 seconds or more), then release. The LED will turn red, indicating the jog wheel is locked.
  Press the Focus button again to unlock.

Jog Wheel Sensitivity Adjustment

You can also adjust the jog wheel resolution to suit your workflow:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold encoders 3 and 4.
3. While holding, power on the device.
   The screen will display Jog Wheel Sensitivity.
4. Rotate encoder 5 to adjust the sensitivity level:
   • 1 = Low sensitivity
   • 2 = Medium sensitivity
   • 3 = High sensitivity
5. Press encoder 8 to save your settings.
