Occasionally users find themselves in a situation where they would prefer not to use the motorized faders on their Platform M+ or X+, and there is a very simple way to disable the motors. 

In most typical scenarios, Your Platform M or X will work with only USB connectivity to your computer system. The power supply is only necessary for powering the faders. To disable the motorized faders, simply unplug your power supply, but leave the USB cable connected.
