QCon Pro G2

Hello, I just bought a QCon Pro G2 and a QCon Pro EX G2, and I set both units with my MacBook Pro.
But when I automate any fader and then I play it again, the fader jitters, flickers, makes a lot of mechanical noise and moves like jumping.

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Jordi

Hello,

Which DAW are you using?

Which firmware version are you using out of the box?

Have you upgraded your G2 firmware version 1.02?

-Did you clear out previous firmware versions in the "Audio MIDI Setup", post firmware upgrade?

How did you setup (connect) your QCon Pro EX and Q Con Pro G2?

-Are you using a high powered usb hub (iCON - One Hub) to power both devices?

Please tell me any other information you may have.

Hello Juan,

Are you using the direct power supplies on the G2 and G2 extension in conduction with the USB cables?

Can you give us more information about how you have the devices  connected to your PC?

What happens when you ONLY connect the main G2 to your PC?

What DAW are you using?

I have the same issue.
I followed the instruction and set all values to 165. Nothing changed.
I wrote an Automation and in read Mode it is heavy jittering.
If I go back again to the calibration, the value is again set to 180.

Latest Firmware Update.
Harrison MIxbus 32C, iMac, Mojave.

Update:
Now I figured out how to save the Fader calibration.
Still the same, nothing changed.

Update 2:
I changed all values to 140.
I rewrote the automation - still the same.

Update3:
Now I set on 135 and it goes even more nuts.

Till,

From my understanding, when the faders shake like that, it's because they are between two data points, and the faders can't decide which point to move to.

Try re-calibrating your faders to the overall value of 140.

Till,

The only time i've seen faders move like this if they need to be recalibrated.   You did that already. There might be a connectivity issue somewhere in the chain or Audio Midi Setup. At this point I think it's best that you speak to a technician.

Please, submit at ticket by clicking the "submit a request" tab above in the tool bar. Fill out all information in entirety. An agent will notify you via email.

Its working now.

For unkown reason, Mixbus wrote the automation like this:

I cleared all automation, Calibrate all Faders to 185 and now it's fine.
